Newport At It's Finest

Mom, Becky, and I took off and had an all girls weekend in Newport Beach. It just so happened that it was the same time as Father's Day weekend, but dad was able to go to Edmonton and spend some time with the grandkids which I'm sure he prefered over spending time with us. Thanks to Mom for an absolutely fabulous weekend...I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Everything was perfect from the flight there to the car we rented to the hotel (Marriott resort and spa) to the shopping to the beach to the fine dining and the pool. The last full day there was perfect. Pedicures in the morning, beach in the afternoon and then back to lay out by the pool for the rest of the day. We had dinner at the Yard House where we were able to watch Tiger win the US Open and saw Cougars at their finest. I seriously have never seen so many Cougars like this in all my life. The Lakers/Celtics game was just about to start as we were leaving the restaurant and the hot men and the cougars were beginning to find their places. The cougars were all dolled up ready to pounce and when I say dolled up they were decked out to the 9's...fake boobs, fake hair, fake tans, fake nails and you know that they weren't there to watch basketball. We had a good laugh on the way out!! The shopping was incredible, but sooo expensive. I was able to find some really cute things and I was even able to find a swimsuit that will be perfect for tanning. It's not any of the ones from the pictures, but it's cute and cheap and just what I was looking for...well mostly!! Enjoy the pics from our fabulous girls outing.
