Southern California!!

The trip is booked!! Mom, Becky and I are having a girls getaway in June. We were originally planning on going to NYC, but the concensus was to go to LA instead where there would be beaches and sunshine. At first I was a little disappointed as I've really wanted to go back to NY but now I am thinking that it will be great regardless...Laguna Beach here I come!!

I had an absolute blast last night!! After a bit of drama and a stressful day it ended up working out in the end and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Kim, Kelsey and I got to Rexall only to discover that I had 3rd Row on the floor...that's right 3rd Row and they were close behind with 6th Row. I couldn't have asked for better seats!! Taylor opened up and she was one of the best opening acts I have ever seen...she is beautiful and she has the confidence to prove it. Then there was Rascal Flatts and once again they proved to be the best performers I have yet to see. Gary and I had a bonding moment while singing "Backwards"...we locked eyes while powering through the lyrics!! They're looking a little older, but they still have what it takes to Melt everyone that looks their way including myself.

Easter Surprise!!

I must say that the highlight for my easter weekend was pulling up to the house and seeing Rob and Amy's white armada in the driveway...they surprised us and drove up for the holiday!! We all had a really good time together and I'm sure after 15 people being under the same roof mom was ready to kick us all out Monday morning. Kristi and Jared headed back to Edmonton on Sunday after Jody and Dano blessed their babies...lots of family which is the best part of going home.

Home Bound!!

I love going home and what better time to go when I have a 4 day weekend...yeehaw!! I seriously can't get out of here soon enough. I haven't been home since Christmas and I am missing my house and my parents, grandparents, good food, open spaces. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Jody's new little twins, Finn and Libby. Becky and I are getting out of here as soon as we're finished work and won't be back until Monday...let the fun begin.

The Style Continues

Now I'm sitting here at my desk trying to be all productive when in walks "George"!! "George" has been around for a while as he's the IT guy and I literally almost vomitted as he was trying to fix the printer. I really don't mean to be rude, but he has a little bit of an odor problem and I didn't think that I was going to make it...like I'm talking the smell lingers for hours afterwards. I got into the elevator once where you could tell he'd been and I was worried that people would think it was me.

Onto a happier note...it was the premier of the Bachelor last night and I was literally in heaven for a good hour and a half...this is the beginning of something very beautiful. He is one fine looking gentleman and I must say that if he goes away empty handed this season I will be sure to be taking a trip to London to find him. He just seems so genuine and so sincere...something that you don't find very often in guys these days. He is a banker in London and has very good style. I can already tell that this season is going to be one wild ride of emotions and drama...watch the claws come out in all of those girls because the british invator is stealing all of their hearts. Stacey was stirring up a lot of drama last night...holy cow that chick was a skank and I'm sure glad that he didn't fall for it. At the end when she got the boot she went off about what a great catch she is and he definitely missed out and to that I have to say if she is a catch what does that make the rest of us because there was certainly no class or tact whatsoever. Then there was Amanda who got the first impression rose and she was my pick from the beginning. I guarantee that she will go a long ways with this Matt fellow until he realizes that he needs a good Canadian girl to take care of him. I would have been the best bachelorette on that show!! HAHA

End to the Madness!!

Just when I thought that spring was right around the corner the inevitable happens and we have this freak snowstorm. I should be used to this since I do live in Edmonton...why do I live here you might ask when winter is my least favorite season and we have about 10 months of it here? I'd like to be stranded on a tropical island right about now and I would be perfectly content. I'm in the middle of planning a couple summer vacations, but maybe next year I need to go somewhere warm and tropical when it is -30 degrees here!!

British Style!!

Now this man can steal my heart any day!! I think the fact that he's British and has a sexy accent really does it for me. I haven't been watching TV lately...like ever, but I always seem to make the time to watch the Bachelor. This will be #1 on my list Monday nights, so if anyones interested you know where to find me. All I can say is he better not be anything like the last bachelor!!

High Rollin' It

I tried to complete a little rundown of 2007 last night, but my computer was being way too slow...maybe due to the fact that I haven't advanced to wireless yet. Who in the world doesn't have wireless these days?? I guess that I'll try my luck again tonight.

Lately I have been feeling like spending money and when I say that I mean an obscene amount of money. At first I thought that maybe if I buy a shirt from BR that will do the trick or maybe a purse that I have had my eye on forever. They've got the most beautiful chalk purse there right now that I just have to have one of these days or I keep thinking that I'll wait for Coach to open up across the way. Then there is the thought of ordering myself a little something from the Tiffany website. I have been wanting a bracelet for a long time, but then I found this necklace that is beautiful and so classy.

I really don't think that any of these items will do the trick though because when I say an obscene amount of money I mean a really high ticket item such as a car. I've got my little honda that has done the trick for years, but I would really like to be driving one of these!! Just give me 6 months...

For Now!!

I didn't really like any of the templates, but I guess that this one will have to do until I figure out how to get more of a selection. I really didn't think that I would ever start this blogging thing, but I guess after blog stocking enough people and realizing that it wasn't only the marrieds on here, I decided to crack and start one of my own. And since I have way too much time on my hands at work it will give me something to keep myself entertained!! So here goes!! I just hope that I can figure all of this out.
