Pumpkin Carving Plus...

Last night for Family Home Evening we carved a pumpkin.  Last year I bought a pumpkin too early and it rotted before we had a chance to carve it.  This year I waited a little too long and this was literally the last pumpkin left in the entire store.  Ava had so much fun watching her dad carve the pumpkin and then she got to gut it.

Me at 25 weeks pregnant!

Allysha put all of her necklaces on Jimmer the other day, so he looks pretty gangster.

I turned on the movie "Amazing" the other day for Jimmer to watch and he sat there for at least 10 minutes watching BYU and cheering them on.  I was shocked that he sat still for that long.

Dress Up

With Halloween in a few days I have been back and forth about what to dress Jimmer in.  I didn't want to go all out, although I just couldn't decide.  I thought a little football player would be cute until I found an old costume of Ava's.  That's when I knew that he had to be an elephant.  He's got the cutest little swagger in his costume and can even make the sound of an elephant.  We went to our Branch Halloween party on Wednesday and then a friends party last night.  The kids had so much fun and I must admit that I had some fun too.  Jimmer strutted around both of those parties like he owned the place and wouldn't hold still long enough to get a good picture.  Ava had such a fun time too, playing with all the other little kids and eating every treat in site.

Spiderman

On our way home from Kamloops a couple weeks ago we were stopped due to construction.  While we were waiting Shane decided to get Jimmer out of his seat and have a little fun to pass the time.  It was comical to watch.

Wanting to be like his big cousins!  He would not let go of the stick or the ball.

Sunday best!

A new shirt a friend of ours had given to Ava.

There is never a dull moment with this little man.  He's always getting into everything and finding new places to hide.

I taught him how to count to three while we were at the park.  He counts to three before going down the slide and now he does it at home when he climbs up on the chair.

I was in the kitchen getting breakfast ready when I found Jimmer reading in the living room.

Now that he's walking he thinks that he needs to go everywhere in a big hurry.  He likes to run around the island and he had his blanket in tow.

Christmas Wish List

I normally don't ask for a whole lot for Christmas, but this year I have compiled a want list.

We're Having A...BOY!!

We were so excited to go to the ultrasound and discover that we're having another little boy.  We love our little Jimmer so much and know that another little boy will just add that much more fun to our home.  I wanted to find out what we are having before going to Seattle just in case I needed to stock up on some essentials, but it turns out we won't need to buy much of anything.  There are things that Jimmer didn't even get to wear because we had so much.

I found this quote on a blog that I came across and love it...

"Forget the laundry and cleaning, just leave out the toys; what I need time for, is little girls and little boys.  Sorry to the broom and apologies to the mop; but when it comes to my children, time won't seem to stop.  I don't care if things are not right in their place; I'm spending my time memorizing your sweet face.  All the errands and chores can just simply wait; for the calendar rushes by to yet another date.  Turn the TV off, all of our shows will keep; today I'm going to sit and watch my babes sleep.  All the crafts and projects are waiting to be sewn; but I'm afraid if I blink you'll already be grown.  So no more lists or busy work and please, no more dishes; just watching my children grow, fulfills all my wishes.  I plead "Oh Lord, please help me to always find a way; to have a place in my heart for these memories to stay."

My little man helping me make cookies.

The day I went for my ultrasound.

This is how we let the family know we were having a boy.  A Filipino at Domino's made it for us..."IT"S BOY".

Snuggling with daddy.  Ava cried when she found out that we were having another boy.  She had her heart set on having a baby sister, but maybe one day!!
