Out of Town Again...

I've been back from Mexico for all of a week and a bit and I'm already ready to get out of town. It's a good thing that I have my plane ticket booked as I can hardly wait for my next adventure. It's off to Utah for some well needed family time and some other little extras while there. These are a few things I'm looking forward to...

Olympic Fever

I have caught the Olympic bug and can't get enough of the US gymanics team. These girls cease to amaze me and I can only wish and dream that I had as much talent and strength as they do. They brought home the silver in the team competition, but were able to capture gold (Nastia) and silver (Shawn) in the women's all-around competition. Now it's on to the individuals and they are still wowing the world with their talent.

Dream Getaway!!

I am now back to reality...back to work, back to the regular routine of life. The only thing that makes me happy about this is sleeping in my own bed, but other then that I wouldn't mind being back in Mexico, sipping on the pina colada's and enjoying the sunshine. I had a fabulous week away which was filled with a lot of rest, relaxing by the pool, eating, drinking, massages on the beach, pedicure.

Delayed!!

I feel like I really don't have a lot to post about although there has been quite a bit going on lately. Went home for Stirling Days and had a fabulous time with my family plus the big 10 years reunion...muh!! I had such an uplifting weekend as a General Authority came to Stirling with his family as dad has been working closely with Salt Lake to get funding for a visitors center. Such a great family and I feel so lucky to have spent time with them.

Jaxon celebrated his 8th birthday and it looked like he had a great time with all his little buddies...Happy Birthday Jax!!

My friend Tanya had her baby on the weekend...little Bruno Tavo Fernandez!! Congratulations Tanya and I can't wait to come see you.

Spencer's birthday is tomorrow and it will be fun to celebrate with him. The boys keep growing up way too fast.

I went and saw Stepbrothers on the weekend...movie with Will Ferrell. I highly recommend for people NOT to see this movie. It was terrible!! A few funny parts, but overall it was very crued and very offensive.

Other then that I've just been working lots and anticipating my trip to Mexico this Saturday. There's only 4 more sleeps until I'm off to bask in the sunshine. The weather hasn't been the greatest around here, so it will be good to get away and experience the real heat.

I am a little bit obsessed with this grey, pinstripe suit from BR right now!! It might help that the guy modeling it is gorgeous, but find me a man wearing this and I will be getting married tomorrow. :) (I promise I'm not superficial!!)

Concert Craze...Sugarland!!

Once again I was entertained by countries finest this past weekend. A couple girlfriends and I went down to Calgary on Friday where we were able to see Miranda Lambert followed by Sugarland in concert. They were there to perform at the Calgary Stampede and it was well worth the travel time. The tickets gave us free admission to the Stampede, so we walked around for a couple hours before the concert. Sugarland put on an amazing show...so good that I would for sure see them again. Jenn, the lead singer, is beautiful and very spunky. I would have liked to stay in Calgary a little longer, but we were back to Etown Saturday evening!!
